According to sources cited by Sina Technology on April 17th, the Taobao app currently available on Apple's Vision Pro App Store is a preview test version. The official version is likely to be launched simultaneously with the domestic version of Vision Pro, bringing more features.
Earlier this year, there were reports from the supply chain indicating that Apple's Vision Pro would be available in China as early as April, "no later than May." Supply chain sources mentioned at the time that the registration process with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for Vision Pro was nearing completion. They also noted that the initial supply for sales in China might be tight. On February 2nd, Tim Cook visited the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in New York, where he was asked about the release date of Vision Pro in China. He responded, "I'm not sure about the specific timing, but it will be soon."

Using Vision Pro to browse Taobao provides a 3D immersive shopping experience. Once Vision Pro recognizes a flat surface, products adhere to it, complete with real-world lighting effects. Users can zoom in to view product details or choose a 1:1 scale to simulate the item's real-world size.
