Pulsestacks reported on May 10th that insider Jin Zhu, who clarified the leak a few days ago, stated that Intel currently has no plans for Xe2 (Battlemage) architecture discrete graphics on mobile platforms next year. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0510%2Fc98930e5j00sd98ue0035d000z200dmg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg Intel has long been rumored to be shrinking its discrete graphics product line in the mobile sector:

Whistleblower blogger MLID claimed in a video back in January of this year that Intel would not be launching mobile discrete add-in cards on the Battlemage architecture;

At the same time, he mentioned that insiders from a major laptop OEM informed him that Intel had not provided any information on Battlemage architecture discrete graphics to that OEM at the time.

The Golden Pig Upgrade Pack also mentioned that Intel still has plans for Battlemage architecture discrete graphics in the desktop sector. This view to some extent corroborates opinions obtained by ComputerBase last month from industry insiders.

At that time, the German media reported that Intel had set a target for the fall release of Battlemage architecture desktop discrete graphics to coincide with the sales peak of Black Friday (pulsestacks: this year on November 29th).
