On April 16th, Polestar officially released the official unboxing video of its first smartphone, the Polestar Phone, showcasing comprehensive details about the packaging and design of the new device.
Shen Zi Yu, Chairman and CEO of Meizu Group, stated that the Polestar Phone was collaboratively crafted by the Polestar design team based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the Meizu design team in China, incorporating the essence of both parties.
Drawing inspiration from Polestar cars for its design, and following the same logic as Polestar OS for its operating system, the Polestar Phone offers a visually unified experience, akin to that of a driver.
While the overall appearance closely resembles that of the Meizu 21 PRO, it incorporates some special elements such as the Polestar logo on the back, as well as Polestar branding below the back cover and on the mid-frame, adding a touch of sophistication.
In addition, beneath each camera of the Polestar Phone, detailed aperture and focal length information is labeled, making it the only design of its kind in the industry, which is quite unique.
The camera parameters are identical to those of the Meizu 21 PRO, and the overall configuration will also remain synchronized.
The Meizu 21 PRO features a third-generation Snapdragon 8-series chip, with a built-in 5050mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the front, it boasts a 6.79-inch screen with a 2K+ ultra-clear resolution, supporting a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The screen is equipped with mTouch Max ultrasonic fingerprint technology, which significantly increases the unlocking area, speeds up the unlocking process, and supports unlocking even with wet hands. It can be said to be the best flagship smartphone for fingerprint unlocking experience.
