In February of this year, Meizu officially unveiled its Meizu 21 PRO smartphone during a special event.
According to the official introduction, the Meizu 21 PRO can be seen as a circle. It is first and foremost a full stop, marking a perfect conclusion to the era of Meizu smartphones. At the same time, it also symbolizes a new beginning.
Meizu will cease the development of traditional smartphone projects and will focus all efforts on AI, shifting its focus to exploring new AI devices.
However, this does not seem to mean that Meizu will stop its hardware product development.
Now, Meizu has officially announced the timing of its new product launch event, which will take place on May 16th, featuring the FlymeAIOS and Meizu 21 Note smartphone launch event.
The official teaser also revealed detailed information about the upcoming smartphone's new product.
It is reported that the Meizu 21 Note will be equipped with the second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, with AI performance increased by 335%; all models will have 16GB LPDDR5X memory, supporting continuous gaming with 5 apps running simultaneously and switching between them for 6 rounds; a 360° three-dimensional cooling system, a 5000mm VC thermal plate, and a low-temperature aerospace aluminum frame.
At the same time, the gaming performance of the Meizu 21 Note has been upgraded. The official introduction states: "Meizu 21 Note phone is a gaming special forces, accurately targeting 4 major gaming pain points, your gaming AI special forces."
It will provide AI game status countdown function, as well as support for AI performance scheduling, AI game ultra-clear, and AI game control.
Combining the current official spoilers, this will be a smartphone product focusing on gaming features.
Prior to this, there were leaks of this new product online.
It is reported that a Meizu new model with the model number M468Q has passed 3C certification.
The certification information shows that this new device was applied for by Zhuhai Meizu Technology Co., Ltd., and supports up to 66W fast charging. Speculations suggest that this could be the Meizu 21 Note.
According to blogger @Digital Chat Station, this new device is positioned as an AI performance flagship, "completely benchmarking against competitors like K70 and Ace3 in terms of gaming and performance experience, with a configuration that is well understood, targeting the 618 sales event."
Combining the leaked information, the Meizu 21 Note will feature a black/white narrow border straight screen design, paired with a metal mid-frame + glass body, equipped with an X-axis motor, a built-in 5500mAh battery, and support for 66W fast charging.
Furthermore, the blogger mentioned that the performance and texture of the Meizu 21 Note "feels a notch higher than recent mid-range devices."
Information about the additional specifications of the Meizu 21 Note has not yet been released, but you can refer to the Meizu 21 from the same series for a general idea.
According to the data, the Meizu 21 weighs 198g, with a thickness of 7.9mm; it features a Samsung 6.55-inch ultra-narrow flat screen with a resolution of 2340x1080; powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, it has a built-in 4800mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
In terms of imaging, the Meizu 21 has a 32-megapixel front camera, a 200-megapixel wide-angle main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide/macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
It runs on the Flyme 10.5 system, incorporating the Flyme Al large model intelligent engine, mEngine Ultra flagship touch engine, supporting Flyme Link for seamless phone-to-phone connectivity, and equipped with mTouch 2.0 ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, stereo dual speakers, and more.
