Fedya, as he's known, was barely alive but was nursed back to health. Despite regaining his health, he kept his frightened expression, which has garnered him many fans.
When he was first discovered, Fedya was in rough shape. He appeared to have poor coordination and struggled to walk.
With TLC from his new owner, he improved and became a normal, healthy cat—albeit with a noticeably odd face. His features seem to be perpetually scrunched up, giving him the appearance of being perpetually startled. 😂
Of course, it's this unusual look that has made him an internet sensation. By 2021, Fedya had already amassed 30k followers on social media. Fast forward to today, and he's become a viral phenomenon with over 300k followers.
While it's still unclear why he looks the way he does, it doesn't seem to bother him or the other cats who appear to love him all the same.
