On April 14th, Changan Mazda unveiled the latest teaser image of its upcoming sedan, showcasing the car's integrated rear light design.
It is reported that the new car, possibly named MAZDA EZ-6, is expected to make its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show.
From the teaser images, it can be seen that the new car will feature a continuous tail light assembly, with the internal light source arranged in a matrix design, providing distinctive illumination when lit up.
Additionally, we can observe that the new car will be equipped with a small rear spoiler, with the logo placed in the middle of the tail light, and the license plate frame positioned below.
According to previous reports, the new car will be a pure electric sedan developed jointly by Mazda and Changan.
The current project, internally codenamed J90A, shares its platform with the Changan Shenlan SL03, while the exterior design and chassis tuning are handled by Mazda.
According to the plan, Mazda will also introduce the J90K and J90K-REEV, slated for 2025. These vehicles are expected to be SUVs. Additionally, there are plans for NEV SUV and NEV CAR in 2026.
