On April 12th, images of the actual Mazda J90A were recently exposed online.
It is reported that the new car will be jointly developed by Mazda and Changan Automobile based on a pure electric platform, compatible with pure electric and extended-range power, and is expected to be unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
After its launch, the car will succeed the Mazda Atz and will be named the Mazda EZ-6.
From the spy photos, the front of the car retains Mazda's classic Kodo design language, with slender headlights highlighting its new energy attributes and bringing a certain dynamism.
At the rear, the car features a sloping design with a continuous taillight assembly, maintaining Mazda's signature style. According to the plan, Mazda is also set to introduce the codenamed J90K and J90K-REEV in 2025, expected to be SUV models. Additionally, there are plans for NEV SUV and NEV CAR in 2026.
