On April 21st, it was announced that this year's "May Day" holiday, after adjustments, will consist of a 5-day break from May 1st to May 5th.

Following the current rule of railway ticket sales, which allows booking 15 days in advance, today marks the opening for purchasing return tickets for May 5th, coinciding with the peak period for travelers returning home. s_9d225bb704564df8acb2147b3d23f05d.jpg Setting ticket purchase reminders:

Tickets go on sale 15 days in advance. To avoid missing the start of sales, the Railway 12306 App marks dates outside the advance sale period with a "Reminder" label. By clicking "Reminder," users can set alarms in their phone calendars.

Pre-filling ticket purchase requirements:

Passengers can pre-fill information such as passenger names, train numbers, and seat preferences on the day tickets go on sale. This allows them to submit orders and complete payments with just one click when ticket sales begin.

Waiting list ticketing feature:

In the Railway 12306 App, users can click on the "Waiting List" option to add different seat types and train numbers according to their needs. The more trains added to the waiting list, the higher the success rate.

Each passenger can submit up to 6 pending orders, and they can choose any 3 travel dates within the advance sale period.

It is understood that during the waitlist process, users can enable the "Accept New Trains" button and specify their desired train requirements. When new trains become available, the system automatically exchanges tickets for passengers.
