On May 23rd, an eye-catching fishing incident occurred at a fishing spot in Lianyungang. According to surveillance footage, a man was dragged into the water by a fish weighing around 20 pounds while fishing.

Surprisingly, the man did not let go. He swam while firmly holding onto the fishing rod, making his way towards the edge of the pond.

According to the fishing spot owner, the incident took place on May 21st. At that time, a fisherman was fishing in their reservoir and accidentally caught a large fish weighing around 20 pounds. Due to the fish's large size, the fisherman was dragged into the water while reeling in the fish.

Afterward, the brave fisherman stated that the incident was entirely his own fault. He explained that due to exerting too much force while reeling, his balance was disrupted after catching the big fish, leading to his accidental fall into the water.

The fishing spot owner revealed that every month, someone gets dragged into the water by a fish.

Netizens joked: "The fish will regret running away for a lifetime, but the person, at most, will cry for three days." s_ee1575ac25e841df81fd46ec6fc6d2b7.png
