On May 1st, the Deputy General Manager of SAIC-GM-Wuling Brand Division announced that the Baojun all-electric sedan was launched for sale in Indonesia today. After deducting government subsidies, the transaction price is 410 million Indonesian Rupiah (approximately 180,000 RMB).

For comparison, the Clouds are priced at 95,800-123,800 RMB in the domestic market, meaning that in Indonesia, the price of this car has doubled at its highest. Sf195bd36-f77f-4294-9c67-87b03b482f49.jpg

It is currently unclear which version in Indonesia corresponds to the domestic market.

The Baojun Cloud is the third electric vehicle launched by Wuling in Indonesia. Prior to this, the Wuling Air EV (right-hand drive version) and Wuling Cortez have already been launched locally, with the former priced at 2.38-2.95 billion Indonesian Rupiah and the latter priced at 3.59-4.08 billion Indonesian Rupiah. 9fe417af-9ead-4459-be1f-2b9598a41f52.png

According to Indonesian laws and regulations, this price range has entered the luxury vehicle sales tax collection range, which means that whether it's the Air EV, the Cortez, or the Confero, they have all become luxury items.

Nevertheless, in the first quarter of this year, Wuling captured a market share of 64% among all new energy vehicle categories in Indonesia, becoming the best-selling new energy brand in the region.
