This quarterly report includes two lists: the New Energy Vehicle Infotainment Smoothness Ranking and the New Energy Vehicle Intelligence Ranking. Its aim is to provide consumers with the most valuable reference for infotainment stability testing rankings and overall intelligence scores. 01 New Energy Vehicle Infotainment Smoothness Ranking According to the rankings, in this quarter's in-car system smoothness test, the NIO ES6 takes the top spot with a total score of 259.6 points, leading by a wide margin among the 10 tested vehicles. It outpaces the second-place Ideal L7 Air by nearly 20 points and surpasses the trailing Xiaopeng X9 by almost 100 points.
Reportedly, the NIO ES6 is equipped with the PIVOT OS in-car intelligent system, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. The tested in-car system version is NETA OS V1.8.2.
During the test, the in-car response speed of the NIO ES6 was remarkably fast, with overall smooth operation. It achieved an average response delay of 169.24ms, an average completion delay of 676.24ms, and a system reboot time of 38.05s. Although it didn't score the highest in each category, its strength lies in its balanced performance, offering users a consistently good experience overall. The Ideal L7 Air, powered by the Snapdragon 8155 chipset, takes the second spot on the list. Its in-car intelligent system, the Ideal Smart Space SS Pro, runs on version V5.0.4.
In the average response latency test, the Ideal L7 Air tops the charts with an impressive score of 157.18ms, securing the first position in this category. However, its average completion latency lags behind a bit at 741.29ms, placing it in the middle among the ten test vehicles. When it comes to the reboot time of the infotainment system, the Ideal L7 Air falls on the lengthier side, clocking in at 63.52 seconds, landing it second from the bottom in this specific metric. When the automotive industry is buzzing with the trend of switching to the "Snapdragon 8295" chip, both the Jikey 007 and NIO ET5T have shown impressive performance in car infotainment systems, with their user experience appearing quite similar in terms of ratings.
However, for Xiaopeng, another representative of the new forces in the automotive sector, the performance of its vehicle models' infotainment systems seems a bit lacking, particularly the Xiaopeng X9, which just hit the market in the first quarter. Its performance in terms of infotainment responsiveness and operational stability appears to be relatively poor. Tests have shown that its average response time is 526.25ms (ranked 9th), with an average response time standard deviation of 53.98ms (ranked 10th), and the infotainment system reboot time is 58.08s (ranked 8th). Additionally, it's worth noting that during the test, the Zhiji LS6 encountered three instances of system crashes, where the screen became unresponsive to touch inputs. This model was the only one among those tested to experience such issues with the infotainment system. 02 New Energy Vehicle Smart Ranking In the realm of AI integration, AITO has once again solidified its top position. Boosted by the Huawei HarmonyOS Smart Cockpit 3.0 and HUAWEI ADS 2.0, the performance of AITO's new M7 remains impressive, clinching the top spot with a smart score of 667.2, securing its position as the Q1 champion. Particularly noteworthy is its outstanding performance in IoT and parking scenarios, where it scored 68.8 and 61.7 points respectively, claiming the first place in both categories. In terms of connectivity, the new WENJIE M7 Smart Drive Edition comes equipped with HarmonyOS 3.0, bringing comprehensive optimizations to the interactive experience compared to its predecessors. The vehicle not only supports the interconnection of household devices such as lights, air conditioners, and purifiers but also enables users to remotely control the vehicle through a mobile app or smartwatch, making its ecosystem quite robust.
