On May 12th, Loongson released the 7A2000 chip in July 2022, which integrated a self-developed GPU core for the first time. With continuous driver updates, the GPU performance has significantly improved.

With the recent release of the 1070 version of the UOS system by Union Tech, the latest drivers for the Loongson 7A2000 have been integrated, further optimizing its performance.

According to the latest test results, the display performance of the 7A2000 has more than doubled with the new drivers, even slightly surpassing the performance level of the AMD R5-230.

The updated drivers not only enhance performance but also improve the smoothness of video playback. Now, the 7A2000 only experiences slight frame drops when playing 4K resolution videos, whereas previously there were frame drops even when playing 1080P videos.

It is known that the GPU core frequency of the 7A2000 reaches 400-500MHz, supporting OpenGL 2.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0 specifications. The memory frequency ranges from 2000MHz to 2400MHz, with a maximum support of 16GB and the ability to support dual displays. c5177fe1-8709-43c1-9ed5-7ff6ee98fa23.jpg
