Currently, all Xiaomi SU7 vehicles are produced and sold in-house, originating from Xiaomi's factory located in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone (also known as Beijing Yizhuang).
According to a recent report on China Central Television (CCTV) news, the factory operates at full capacity, churning out a new car every 76 seconds. Over 700 robots are deployed directly on the production lines, enabling 100% automation in key processes such as large-scale casting, stamping, body assembly, painting, and final assembly.
Leveraging AI technology, Xiaomi has independently developed an X-ray intelligent quality inspection system, enabling 100% high-precision online monitoring of key processes.
In addition to the traditional stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly processes, Xiaomi has also established in-house large-scale die-casting and battery workshops.
Furthermore, Xiaomi's automotive factory Phase II is scheduled to commence construction in 2024 and be completed by 2025.
