On March 25th, vivo is set to unveil its latest generation of foldable smartphones — the vivo X Fold 3 Pro, tomorrow at 7:00 PM. The new device has already made its way to our review lab, and here's a sneak peek for you.
In its unfolded form, the vivo X Fold 3 Pro measures at 159.96mm x 142.4mm x 4.65mm, while in its folded state, it comes in at 159.96mm x 72.53mm x 10.2mm, with a weight of 219g.
What's striking is that the vivo X Fold 3 Pro not only sheds nearly 60g compared to its predecessor but also surpasses other lightweight models on the market in terms of slimness and weight. In fact, with a weight of 219g, it even outshines many traditional flat models. Take the widely-known iPhone 15 Pro Max, for example, which weighs 221g.
Moreover, the vivo X Fold 3 Pro series adopts vivo's self-developed "Armor Wing" architecture, featuring the industry's lightest carbon fiber backbone hinge, weighing only 17.7g. Not only is it lighter, but it's also more robust, capable of withstanding folding pressures of up to 500,000 times.
The camera module of the vivo X Fold 3 Pro follows a familial design language, with the rear camera module sporting the iconic "ZEISS" logo placed at the bottom left, while three lenses are neatly positioned at the center within the module, adhering to the family's cloud-step design.
