Lantu's Technological Breakthroughs

Pulsestacks: Thank you, General Li, for joining us for this exclusive interview with Netease. Today, I would like to focus on three main topics. Firstly, let's discuss the technical seminar we held at the Beijing Auto Show. Could you please share with our audience the key new technologies and highlights that we unveiled during the online event and here at Netease?

Li Boxiao: As many of you may already know, Lantu has always been a company that does a lot but speaks little in the automotive industry. Yesterday, we hosted the Lantu Spring Technology Seminar at Beijing, where we felt it was necessary to provide a comprehensive update on Lantu's advancements in three crucial areas for smart vehicles: electric vehicle technology, autonomous driving technology, and intelligent cockpit technology. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcms-bucket.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0502%2Fcc0a13d0j00scuo08017xc000z700jtc.png&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg Assistant to the General Manager of LanTu Automotive Sales Service Co., Ltd., Li Boxiao, and Editor-in-Chief of Pulsestacks, Zhang Yuanyuan

For example, in the field of electrification technology, yesterday we announced that LanTu has achieved a leading 92.5% efficiency in electric drive assembly technology. This technology allows us to travel further than our competitors on the same amount of battery power. Additionally, we introduced the second-generation Amber Battery, which boasts the highest energy density in the industry and meets the highest safety standards.

We unveiled a series of technologies including 5C charging and 800-volt systems, enabling LanTu to achieve a range of 450 kilometers with just a 10-minute charge.

We have made significant technological innovations, such as our charging stations supporting up to 8C, making them the world's first megawatt-level charging stations. This technology positions us at the forefront in the commercial sector.

Secondly, our intelligent driving technology. LanTu has been pursuing two parallel paths: one is our in-house research and development. For instance, last year we introduced the industry's first Centralized Electronic Electrical Architecture - Tianyuan Architecture, which has been applied to production models.

We will continue our in-house R&D efforts. The other path involves collaborative partnerships with tech companies like Huawei and Baidu. We recently announced a partnership with Huawei to integrate their latest Gan Kun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system into LanTu models, set to launch this year. Our collaboration with Baidu last year resulted in LanTu FREE becoming the first model to feature the Apollo advanced driving system. These partnerships aim to establish an advanced technological ecosystem in the industry.

This approach adds significant value for current users. In today's automotive ecosystem, no single OEM can excel in every aspect, so we aim to expand LanTu's network and collectively create value for users.

Thirdly, I would like to report on our latest advancements in intelligent cockpits. LanTu's next-generation intelligent cockpit is currently at the forefront of the industry. For instance, our voice interaction accuracy exceeds 98%, with response times under 0.5 seconds, significantly enhancing human-machine interaction.

We introduced the world's first OLED sliding curved screen, enabling smooth movement between the central screen and the co-driver's area with a response time of just 5 milliseconds. Additionally, we launched the AR-HUD, supporting a maximum brightness level exceeding 14,000 nits. Even on a bright day like today in Beijing, LanTu's models offer clear visibility and an excellent experience.

These technological innovations have significantly elevated the user experience in LanTu's intelligent cockpits. Yesterday's announcements from electrification to intelligent driving to intelligent cockpits send a strong signal to the industry. LanTu's technological prowess is rapidly advancing, and we will swiftly iterate on the next generation of models.

Pulsestacks: I am eagerly anticipating the application of these new technologies, architectures, and electrification advancements in more upcoming models. I have test-driven the LanTu Dreamer before, and despite its size, the overall experience was excellent.

Li Boxiao: Indeed, it is a sizable vehicle with a wheelbase exceeding 3.2 meters, yet remarkably agile. When driving the Dreamer, you don't feel like you're handling a large vehicle. We have implemented a unique front double wishbone and rear five-link million-level all-aluminum chassis, along with a million-level Magic Carpet air suspension + CDC, providing an excellent driving experience, including tuning and L2.5 intelligent driving. For female drivers, if parking seems daunting, our automatic parking system can assist in any scenario, making parking effortless with just a press of a button.

Positioning as a global premium brand

Pulsestacks: Next, I'd like to discuss a marketing topic with you. We understand that LanTu's 100,000th vehicle rolled off the production line in early April, which I believe is a significant milestone. What strategies will we adopt to maintain our advantage and even surpass our current achievements in the upcoming marketing initiatives?

Li Boxiao: Firstly, for LanTu, reaching 100,000 vehicles is a momentous milestone. Since the brand's launch in 2020, we have been deeply grateful for the global user support and have been striving for breakthroughs in technology, products, and brand development. Our goal for this year is to achieve sales of 100,000 vehicles, doubling our annual sales volume. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcms-bucket.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0502%2F9d4d57bbj00scuo0b01hsc000z700jtc.png&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg Assistant to the General Manager of Lantu Automotive Sales Service Co., Ltd., Li Boxiao, and Editor-in-Chief of Pulsestacks, Zhang Yuanyuan

To achieve this goal, we have several important support points.

The first support point is the continuous upgrading of our products, including the models equipped with Huawei's latest intelligent driving system that we are collaborating with Huawei to launch, expected to be released this year. We will also iterate on existing models based on market dynamics and competitive changes to ensure that Lantu's products are at a very high level at every point in time and continuously improving.

The second support point is the rapid increase in the brand awareness and reputation of Lantu. Although we have been established for less than four years, in the past few years, we have invested a lot of resources in brand building and experience, aiming to create a globally influential high-end smart electric vehicle brand.

The third support point is our breakthrough in channels. Currently, the user base in China is rapidly expanding. In order to better meet the service process from car viewing to car maintenance for domestic users, we plan to break through 400 stores in China this year. At the same time, we will also accelerate our expansion in overseas markets. Our brand launch in Italy in mid-April is a key step in this direction. Next, in the second quarter, we will gradually enter more countries. Based on these three support points, we are confident in our goals for this year. Although the industry competition is fierce, we are confident in maintaining a good market position in this round of elimination.

Pulsestacks: Our overall layout shows strong momentum in marketing channels, brand dimension, and product strength, with detailed plans. The last question is about the international expansion strategy you just mentioned. We are entering the European market, especially the Italian market, with a strategy dominated by luxury and high-end brands. What is the consideration behind this? How is the progress in the European market?

Li Boxiao: In fact, from the inception of Lantu, we have positioned ourselves to build a globally influential high-end brand. Therefore, we chose to first layout in the European market. So far, we have successively entered markets in developed countries such as Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, and are rapidly expanding to Southern Europe and other developed countries. In addition, Lantu is very confident in its own products and technology, so we dare to compete with competitors in mature automotive markets. This time, we brought concept cars and production cars to Italy, a market where top global sports cars gather. Both the professionals in the Italian automotive industry and their user base have given us very positive feedback. At this year's Beijing Auto Show, we also took the opportunity to announce the Let's VOYAH "共岚图" international strategy, setting the core goal of "6655" - by 2030, establish a presence in six continents, enter 60 countries globally, establish 500 sales and service outlets, and achieve cumulative overseas sales exceeding 500,000 vehicles.

Pulsestacks: Today, our discussion on these three topics has been very in-depth. Our interview ends here. Thank you, General Li.

Li Boxiao: Thank you, Pulsestacks and all the netizen friends. I would also like to extend an invitation to everyone:
