On March 15th, popular blogger @CarLover shared real photos of the Ideal L6 on social media platforms.
In the image, it's evident that the Ideal L6 adopts the same Elephant Grey Special Edition paint as the MEGA model.
Ideal's Vice President, Mr. Zou Liangjun, mentioned in a recent interview that Ideal's first SUV, the Ideal L6, a mid-sized 5-seater, will be launched in April. Priced below 300,000 RMB, it aims to challenge a monthly sales target of 30,000 units.
The dimensions of the L6 are more compact compared to the previously released Ideal L7, with lengths, widths, and heights measuring 4925mm, 1960mm, and 1735mm respectively. The wheelbase is 2920mm. It maintains the signature design language of the Ideal Automobile family.
In terms of features, from the declaration document, it's evident that laser radar is an optional feature. This indicates that the car will continue to offer Pro and Max versions, and possibly introduce a more affordable Air version.
In terms of power, the Ideal L6 is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine serving as a range extender system, with a maximum power output of 113 kilowatts. It features front and rear dual motors as the primary power source, with the batteries still sourced from CATL and LG Chem. It's expected to share the same setup as the Air and Pro versions of the L8.
It's worth noting that the model being applied for this time is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries. Whether there will be a version with ternary lithium batteries in the future remains unknown for now.
