On May 24th, it was reported by the media that at CES, Samsung showcased a new OLED screen form called "Flex Hybrid."
Flex Hybrid combines the form of a rollable screen and a foldable screen for the first time. When the screen is unfolded, it measures 10.5 inches, and through sliding and stretching, the screen can expand to 12.4 inches.
It is reported that Lenovo is developing a device with an OLED panel provided by Samsung Display, and the new product is set to be launched in Q2 2025.
Industry insider Ross Young revealed that this device is a combination of a tablet and a laptop, with a screen size of 13 inches that can be expanded to 17 inches through sliding, and Lenovo will also equip it with a stylus.
Industry insiders point out that the moving parts of the scroll screen increase the difficulty of product design, and the reliability of the device is also a challenge, making such a terminal product inevitably not cheap once mass-produced.
However, its innovative design can open up the high-end PC market, injecting innovation vitality into the traditional PC industry.
