April 2nd news, following the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge, we've now spotted Lenovo's first laptop featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor. This is also the second device to sport the Snapdragon X Elite chip, with slightly different benchmark scores.
The specific model of this Lenovo laptop is not detailed; GeekBench 6 only shows a model number “4810UV0100,” with the corresponding processor being the Snapdragon X Elite X1E78100, featuring a 12-core setup with 8+4 cores, a base frequency of 3.4GHz, and an unknown max frequency.
The actual benchmark scores recorded were 2427 for single-core and 14254 for multi-core.
As a comparison, Samsung's processor is the Snapdragon X Elite X1E80100, with 12 cores, a base frequency of 4.0GHz, and a maximum frequency of 4.3GHz, scoring 2785 in single-core and 13925 in multi-core performance tests.
Lenovo's performance shows a nearly 13% decrease in single-core performance, indicating a lower boost frequency likely below 4.3GHz. However, multi-core performance is about 2% higher, which is somewhat unusual.
According to leaks, the Snapdragon X Elite processor comes in four versions, including the mentioned X1E8400 and lower X1E76100. Additionally, the Snapdragon X Plus also has four versions: X1P64100, X1P61100, X1P56100, and X1P40100.
