On March 23, Lei Jun revealed that the cost of test vehicles for Xiaomi's SU7 was quite expensive at first, with each vehicle costing over 2 million CNY, but later gradually approached the cost level of mass-produced vehicles.

It is reported that Xiaomi has a total of 576 SU7 test vehicles, making it one of the largest test fleets in China. This is also one of the reasons why Xiaomi's SU7 test vehicles are frequently seen in different cities. 716f4417-746a-4d22-8581-141c41d42d9a.jpg Xiaomi Auto SU7 has conducted a large-scale road test covering 300 cities nationwide. The test covered a temperature difference of 100°C, from -40°C in the freezing Heihe to 60°C in the scorching Turpan. Tests were even conducted on the Kunlun Mountain Plateau at an altitude of 4,768 meters.

Lei Jun revealed that Xiaomi executives fully participated in the SU7 road test, and the cumulative test mileage has exceeded 100,000 kilometers.

Lei Jun himself has personally participated in the test several times. The longest one was on January 5 this year, when he drove from Beijing directly to Shanghai, covering a total distance of 1,276 kilometers. He drove alone, using high-speed autopilot mode, and including charging and rest, it took a total of more than 15 hours.

After such rigorous testing, Lei Jun announced that the Xiaomi Auto SU7 is ready and will be officially released next Thursday. s_7150fde67150450aaade004905250639.png
