According to reports from March 20, BMW's latest concept car, the Vision Neue KlasseX, was slated for an official unveiling tomorrow. However, ahead of the launch, official images of the concept car have surfaced online.

Based on the released images, the most noticeable design change is to BMW's signature kidney grille. The new model's grille is considerably slimmer, giving it a more unconventional appearance compared to the previous "buck-toothed" grille. What are your thoughts on this design alteration? BMW's design element pays homage to the Neue Klasse concept cars and the subsequent series of production models released in the 1960s and 1970s.

In addition, the new car will be equipped with an electronic rearview mirror, which can effectively reduce wind resistance and optimize the limitations of traditional rearview mirrors.

BMW previously released a preview image of the interior. The car screen is not a regular rectangle but an irregular hexagon; the air conditioning vents may be hidden and horizontally designed.

New EV Concept Unveiled

The latest concept car is rumored to be the successor to the BMW iX3. It will feature BMW's latest sixth-generation lithium-ion battery and an upgraded 800-volt high-voltage architecture, resulting in a 30% faster charging time.

The official launch will take place on March 21st at 4:00 PM Beijing time. The car will be the first to be produced on BMW's Neue Klasse new-generation platform and will begin production in Hungary in July 2025, with Chinese production scheduled for 2026.
