March 11 news, ViewSonic has introduced a new 31.5-inch curved monitor, featuring a 2K 165Hz display, with an initial launch price of only 1149 Yuan.
It is reported that the new monitor utilizes a 165Hz Fast VA panel from CSOT, with a resolution of 2560x1440, a screen curvature of 1500R, a response time of 1ms, a brightness of 300 nits, and covers 85% of the NTSC color gamut.
It supports HDR10 technology, where the HDR feature can automatically adjust the exposure of dark and bright parts, allowing you to see a lot of details in the shadows and highlights that aren't visible without HDR. This makes the image more three-dimensional and realistic.
Additionally, it also supports Adaptive-Sync technology, preventing screen tearing or stuttering, ensuring users can explore the gaming world more smoothly and fluidly.
Furthermore, the new monitor features FlickerFree technology, which eliminates screen flickering. When viewing the monitor screen with devices such as smartphones or cameras, you may notice various flickering lines, known as screen flicker. Although it's challenging to detect flickering images with the naked eye, the intricate structure of the eyes can still be adversely affected.
The interfaces include 2 HDMI 2.0 ports and 1 DP1.2 port, allowing seamless connections to both the host and devices like PS4. Signal source switching can be easily done through the OSD menu, eliminating the need for unplugging or moving the main device.
