While the new device still features a dual-camera setup, the arrangement has been switched to a vertical orientation, reminiscent of the iPhone X era.
According to leaks, this move is aimed at achieving spatial video shooting. The vertically arranged dual cameras are capable of capturing videos with a sense of space, whereas diagonal arrangements prove difficult. This change is deemed in pursuit of the Vision Pro.
Notably, Apple has also crafted a color scheme entirely distinct from its previous offerings. It's a bright hue between blue and green, a color palette more commonly seen on domestic smartphones.
Additionally, there's been a recent trend in smartphone design over the past couple of years with the rise of flat-edge and flat-screen designs. Some bloggers have humorously remarked that the iPhone 16 bears a resemblance to Huawei and Honor phones.
The Huawei Nova 11 SE, especially, shares striking similarities with the Honor X8b model overseas.
