Lantu Automotive: Our AR-HUD has a brightness of up to 14,000 nits, twice as bright as a phone

On May 9th, it was reported that the car-mounted Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) is becoming an essential component of intelligent cockpits, gradually becoming a standard feature in smart connected vehicles.

However, a pain point of AR-HUD is that the display is not clear under strong light.

In response to this, Lantu Automotive CEO Lu Fang introduced that Lantu has taken the lead in using an industry-leading brightness of 14,000 nits to address this issue. This standard is more than twice the highest brightness of a phone (4,500-5,000 nits), achieving a hyper-retina effect, providing users with unprecedented visual clarity.

In addition to brightness, Lantu's AR-HUD can also achieve high adaptability adjustment and brightness adaptation, thereby adapting to various driving environments. For example, when a vehicle enters a tunnel, the AR-HUD automatically dims, and brightens when exiting the tunnel, ensuring the best visual effect.

At the same time, Lantu's AR-HUD can clearly and accurately present 34 types of information such as roads and navigation, allowing users to fully grasp the vehicle and road conditions. It also has five major functional modes, including concise, standard, navigation, intelligent driving, and AR modes, meeting the needs of different driving scenarios.

Lu Fang also emphasized that Lantu Automotive aims to help the Chinese automotive industry transition to intelligent connected new energy vehicles through efforts. Lantu Automotive also aims to replace traditional high-end fuel vehicles with high-end new energy vehicles. s_f498231bc592499283907fbb9ac59e72.jpg
