On May 1st, Lamborghini's CEO Stephan Winkelmann publicly stated that the strong sales performance of the new Urus SE plug-in hybrid vehicle demonstrates the luxury car buyers' acceptance of hybrid technology, even in the highest echelons of the car market.

The latest Urus SE from Lamborghini, a plug-in hybrid version of the popular "super sport SUV," not only upholds the eco-friendly manufacturing philosophy but also achieves remarkable performance levels.

With nearly 800 horsepower combined, this model can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds, perfectly embodying the harmonious coexistence of speed and environmental consciousness. s_14643d06d0064c549fb7de258c15f923.jpg Since its launch, the Urus SE has been warmly welcomed by the market. It is predicted that by the end of 2025, sales will surpass the 5,000 mark. This strong sales momentum indicates that Lamborghini is poised for another successful year.

During the Urus SE launch event, Winkelmann told the media that the success of the plug-in hybrid car does not mean Lamborghini will delay its plans for full electrification.

He emphasized that Lamborghini always closely monitors market trends and technological advancements to adapt flexibly to evolving market demands.

Regarding the acceptance of hybrid technology, Winkelmann noted that five years ago, hybrid technology was quite challenging for supercar manufacturers. However, today, this technology has been embraced by a wide range of buyers and is warmly welcomed.

He explained that hybrid technology not only enhances vehicle performance but also helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions, aligning with society's current pursuit of sustainability. s_f35e9198bcd24923b254e459c543f3ac.jpg
