On May 11th, Huawei is aiming to build a more prosperous native industry ecosystem in China through its efforts.

At the Kunpeng Ascend Developer Conference 2024, Ma Haixu, Vice President of Huawei and President of ICT Product Portfolio Management and Solutions Department, stated that Huawei will work with developers to inspire innovation through innovation, return value with value, nurture talent with talent, and create a more prosperous native industry ecosystem in China.

He revealed that Kunpeng Ascend has closely collaborated with over 6.1 million developers, working hand in hand to build a new computing industry ecosystem. s_4d15571c4bad42669d1eb78afa5bcc2e.jpg Over 6,700 industry partners have joined the Kunpeng and Ascend ecosystems, collectively incubating over 18,700 solutions.

For native development, there are plans to invest 1 billion RMB annually over the next three years to nurture the ecosystem, fully supporting the popularization and promotion of native development. The goal is to develop over 1,500+ native app partners, covering over 80% of computing scenarios, with 80% of applications based on Kunpeng & Ascend native development.

Earlier, Huawei officially announced that more than 4,000 apps have joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem.

Compared to the initial 200 apps announced on January 18, this means that in just two months, the number of HarmonyOS native apps has grown 20 times.

This growth in data demonstrates the rapid progress of the HarmonyOS ecosystem construction, bringing it one step closer to its goal.

Zhuyonggang, President of Huawei's Terminal Cloud, stated at the beginning of this year that Huawei hopes to jointly create 5,000 "pure-blood" HarmonyOS native apps with partners by 2024. 0137a1af-e4b1-4694-b4c6-a870564535a5.jpg
