March 20 news, today, Kuaishou released its fourth quarter and full-year results for 2023, with total revenue for the full year 2023 reaching CNY 113.47 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%, and adjusted net profit exceeding CNY 10 billion for the first time, reaching CNY 10.27 billion.
According to media reports, during the Kuaishou earnings call, Cheng Yixiao, founder and CEO of Kuaishou, disclosed that after the company initiated its AI strategy in 2023, it has been steadily advancing the research and training of its in-house large language model.
It is reported that following the Kuaizhi 13 billion and 660 billion models, Kuaishou focused on the research and training of a 175 billion large language model in the fourth quarter.
"We're confident that within the next six months, our large model's capabilities will match those of GPT-4.0," said Cheng Yixiao.
In August 2023, Kuaishou's AI team announced that its independently developed large language model, "KwaiYii," had entered internal testing.
KwaiYii reportedly includes models with varying parameter scales and encompasses the KwaiYii-13B-Base pre-trained model and the KwaiYii-13B-Chat conversational model.
Among these, the Base pre-trained model has achieved leading performance among similar models on authoritative Chinese/English testing platforms such as MMLU, CMMLU, and C-Eval.
