On March 10th, it was reported that Jia Yueting's electric car startup, Faraday Future, has announced its first recall plan, which includes all FF91 vehicles delivered last year (a total of 11 cars).

According to information released by the US NHTSA, this recall primarily addresses safety issues with the FF91's airbag warning light. A malfunction in the vehicle's safety airbags could potentially prevent the warning light from illuminating due to errors in the software system. s_ae2440c0858a4a9f8986905fa5db14e1.png According to reports, Faraday Future will arrange for concierge personnel to pick up the vehicles and conduct a "re-delivery" for the involved owners. Recall notifications are expected to start notifying customers on March 15.

It is reported that on May 31st last year, Faraday Future officially released its flagship model FF91 and announced that the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance would be priced at $309,000 (approximately 2.216 million RMB at the current exchange rate). Jia Yueting stated, "Nine years, one sword, fulfilling the dream of building cars."

Moreover, Faraday Future began delivering its first FF91 in August last year, with the first customer being Private Collection Motors, one of the largest luxury car dealerships in Southern California.

In 2023, Faraday Future delivered a total of ten new cars throughout the year, including one for Jia Yueting himself.

However, Faraday Future recently announced that the expected annual production capacity of its California Hanford plant would reach 10,000 units, and delivery progress for this year is also expected to improve. s_00799f56d6844f86a2c17eabc566ec35.jpg
