On the afternoon of March 16th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between JD Group and BYD was held at the JD headquarters in Beijing. According to the agreement, both parties will collaborate comprehensively in areas such as omnichannel marketing and after-sales services for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicle cooperation, smart supply chain services, enterprise procurement, and integrated services. JD Auto will utilize its omnichannel layout and marketing capabilities to collaborate with BYD in vehicle sales, corporate cooperation, marketing innovation, user operations, and battery maintenance, aiming to deliver a seamless automotive consumption experience. JD Logistics will leverage its nationwide and overseas warehouse resources, distribution network, and expertise in smart supply chain and warehouse automation to provide inventory management, order fulfillment, and international logistics services for BYD, enhancing inventory cost efficiency, shortening delivery cycles, and ensuring brand globalization. JD Industry will collaborate deeply with BYD in digital procurement, exploring the construction and upgrading of digital procurement systems in the automotive industry, leveraging "Jingpu" smart supply chain solutions to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs.
