He stated that faced with the changing trends and pain points in the automotive industry, JD Auto has put forward five solutions to address industry challenges: leveraging the ecosystem of over 600 million users to co-create brand value, promoting new channels for vehicle sales to enhance overall transaction efficiency, establishing a comprehensive supply chain for automotive boutique malls, driving the co-construction of high-standard car maintenance service systems to enhance after-sales service networks, and collaborating on standardizing parts and integrating supply chain capabilities.

At the same time, the relevant business leader of JD Auto Service conducted a thematic sharing session titled "Advancing High-standard Vehicle Maintenance Service System to Promote the Co-construction of New Energy Vehicle After-sales Network." He mentioned that the rapid penetration of new energy vehicles has brought significant changes to after-sales services: in terms of consumer demand, compared to after-sales maintenance of traditional fuel vehicles, the service value of new energy vehicle maintenance and repair has decreased by 49% and 45% respectively, while services like cleaning, tire maintenance, and maintenance of the three electric systems constitute the main value contribution to NEV maintenance; in terms of service channels, the limitations of the current OEM warranty and authorization systems have created relatively fewer opportunities for the independent aftermarket of new energy vehicles; in terms of battery ecology, the extension of the battery recycling industry chain brings market opportunities, and authorized repair chain stores will be highly involved in battery after-sales business. In the face of such changes, the transformation of after-sales services towards electrification is imperative.

To this end, JD Auto Service has proposed a "go-with-the-flow" response philosophy: first, relying on its own comprehensive service network, it collaborates with the upstream and downstream industries to promote comprehensive electrification upgrades through authorization from OEMs and battery manufacturers; in terms of authorization cooperation, JD Auto Service has already established service agent cooperation with Guangzhou Automobile E-An, Xpeng, FAW Pentium, CATL, and others; in terms of industry standards, in 2023, JD Auto Service participated in the drafting and formulation of China's first "New Energy Vehicle Maintenance Professional Skills Evaluation Specification" and "New Energy Vehicle Power Battery Testing and Maintenance Specification," contributing to industry standardization with its own professional reserves; in terms of technician reserves, JD Auto Service has certified over 1000 new energy technicians, with additional training and certification from CATL in 2024. In terms of site and service upgrades, JD Auto Service has conducted specialized upgrades for stores in three electric system testing, battery disassembly/replacement/repair, and basic maintenance of new energy vehicles, as well as specialized layouts for sheet metal spraying and beauty enhancement services.
