According to blogger @李昂昂昂啊, this new device is the iQOO Neo9s Pro, featuring 120W fast charging. The charger supports 100W PPS and PD. The main difference from the iQOO Neo9 Pro model is that the processor has been upgraded from the Dimensity 9300 to the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, with few other configuration changes.
As a reference, the iQOO Neo9 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz 8T all-weather ultra-sensitive screen; equipped with the Dimensity 9300 and self-developed gaming chip Q1, it adopts a 6K Tianmu VC liquid cooling system; a front-facing 16-megapixel camera, and a rear-mounted 50-megapixel IMX920 main camera + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens; built-in equivalent of 5160mAh battery, supporting 120W super fast charging, starting at 2999 CNY.
In addition to the iQOO Neo9 series, iQOO mobile officially announced recently, "iQOO Z9 Turbo, the industry's first to be equipped with the third generation Snapdragon 8s flagship chip! iQOO Z9 series, will debut on April 24th at 19:00!"
According to a pre-release teaser from Jia Jingdong, Vice President of vivo and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, the first batch of iQOO Z9 Turbo will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen3 chip, capable of running large mobile games and AI large-model systems. It comes with a "Turbo dedicated display chip" and 6K VC cooling, promising a seamless experience with full-map ray tracing, full-color gamut restoration, and no stuttering throughout.
In the preheating phase, it was mentioned that the iQOO Z9 Turbo features a 1.5K, 144Hz high refresh rate screen, delivering a gaming performance of up to 120 frames per second. It comes with a built-in 6000mAh large-capacity Blue Ocean battery, making the body as thin as 7.98mm, "making the grip very comfortable, and the battery life lasts very long".
In terms of appearance design, based on the official poster, the design of the iQOO Z9 Turbo is similar to the previously released iQOO 12, also adopting a rectangular rear camera module, with the corners of the module being relatively rounded, and surrounded by a silver border.
Additionally, in a recent leak by tech blogger @TechChatZone, it's mentioned that the iQOO Z9 Turbo features a plastic-free frame and a flat screen, offering three color options: Mountain Green, Midnight Black, and Starlight White, with storage configurations of 12+512GB and 16+512GB.
Apart from the iQOO Z9 Turbo, the iQOO Z9 series also includes the iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9x models.
According to leaks from digital blogger @DigitalChatStation, the iQOO Z9 will feature a 6.78-inch OLED 2D display with a resolution of 2800x1260p and will be powered by the Snapdragon 7Gen3 chip. The iQOO Z9x, on the other hand, will come with a 1080p resolution LCD screen and will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 series chip. Additionally, both models will focus on long battery life, boasting a maximum of 6000mAh battery capacity.
For comparison, the previous generation iQOO Z8 features a 6.64-inch 2388×1080 resolution 120Hz refresh rate LCD punch-hole display; powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset; a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel ultra-clear OIS anti-shake main camera + 2-megapixel depth of field lens on the back; it packs a 5000mAh battery, supports 120W fast charging, starting at a price of 1699 CNY.
The iQOO Z8x features a 6.64-inch 2388×1080 resolution LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch design. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6Gen1 chip, equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera, and a rear setup comprising a 50-megapixel AI main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device packs a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, starting at a price of 1299 CNY.
