According to research by OPPO on April 23rd, the average charging power of phones worldwide stands at 34W.

The survey also reveals that Chinese phones boast an average charging power of up to 50W. So, does your phone meet this standard? For users of domestically-produced Android phones, it's highly likely that they have already surpassed this average. s_f7e2c3fc3f1f4a9b9eecfa654eebf758.jpg Many domestic smartphone manufacturers have popularized fast charging technology, with starting power reaching 60W even in phones priced at around a thousand yuan. In comparison, Apple iPhone users might feel somewhat left behind.

Take the iPhone 15, for example. While the entire lineup adopts USB-C ports and Apple doesn't impose any charging power restrictions, progress in fast charging seems to have stalled.

The maximum charging power for the new iPhone remains the same as its predecessor at 27W (9V/3A).

Testing results for the iPhone 15 Pro Max indicate that it takes 2 hours and 21 minutes to fully charge using a 20W charger, a speed that may seem somewhat unacceptable compared to other smartphones. s_ab2f1fa6df5d4107969e8acd7292d463.jpg
