According to sources, Apple is preparing a new green finish for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, which could feature a new design and color scheme. Described as "eye-catching" and even "stunning," this particular shade of green appears to be distinct from the "Alpine Green" of the iPhone 13 Pro in 2022 or the regular "Green" of the iPhone 13.
Earlier, another informant suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro may only be available in four colors: Deep Space Black, White, Gray, and Rose Gold. However, the informant also mentioned that the iPhone 16 Pro is likely to retain the color options from the iPhone 15.
Regardless of what this informant has seen, the new colors are expected to be different from the green options of previous iPhones due to the use of different processing techniques. The reason why the iPhone 13 series had two green colors partly lies in the different shell materials between the Pro models and the standard version.
The size and shape of the iPhone 16 have not changed significantly, with a screen size of 6.1 inches and a similar aluminum frame design. The edges may be slightly tapered, and the back may feature a matte glass finish. It is worth noting that the border size around the screen may be slightly reduced, although this possibility is low as Apple is more likely to maintain thinner borders on the iPhone Pro models. However, there have been changes in the design of the camera module, with Apple switching to a new vertical camera layout on the iPhone 16.
