March 20th News, according to reports, the iPhone 16 series will be the first to adopt the new BRS display technology for an even narrower border design.
BRS stands for Border Reduction Structure, an edge-to-edge display technology. Apple utilized this technology to minimize the bottom bezel, reducing its footprint by coiling up the flex cables at the bottom.
Sources say that the iPhone 16 series, which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, will all feature the BRS display.
It's worth noting that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will have the same dimensions as the previous generation, at 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
The iPhone 16 Pro, on the other hand, will have a 6.3-inch display, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display. Both models will support ProMotion technology. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be the largest iPhone Apple has ever released.
