Reports suggest that the upcoming iPhone 16 Plus, anticipated to follow the colorful trend set by last year's iPhone 15 series, will feature a range of hues on its rear panel, including blue, pink, yellow, green, and black.
According to leaks from prominent bloggers, the new device is expected to offer at least two color variants: green and blue. However, initial impressions regarding its aesthetic are less than favorable, with some sources claiming that those who have seen it find it unattractive.
On April 3rd, a digital blogger leaked that the blue variant of the iPhone 16 Plus has already reached the assembly line. It's reported that the back panel of this color option is a light blue with a hint of purple, and the camera module has a dark and glossy color.
The blogger mentioned another color option for the new device, which is green. They commented, "At first glance, the green looks unattractive, but after seeing the blue variant, it seems the green option is somewhat acceptable."
Word on the street is that those who have seen the iPhone 16 Plus prototypes, or in other words, those who have laid eyes on the device, find it ugly.
It's reported that the lens Deco of the iPhone 16 Plus comes in a dark style. While the back cover and Deco are in the same color scheme, the Deco color is too dark, resulting in a significant contrast. Perhaps this is why some people say it looks ugly.
Additionally, previous leaks of metal machine models and molds have shown that the arrangement of the rear camera module of the iPhone 16 Plus has changed from a "bath bully" style to a vertically arranged design.
The iPhone 16 series this year will still include four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models will feature the A18 processor, with screen sizes expected to increase from 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively.
