iPhone 16 Phone Case Leak: Confirmation of Vertical Camera Setup

On March 30th, news surfaced on social media platforms revealing the phone case of the iPhone 16. Judging by the position of the camera cutouts, the iPhone 16 is adopting a vertical dual-camera design, reminiscent of the iPhone X.

Reports indicate that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will support spatial video recording, which is a significant reason for Apple's adjustment of the camera position. s_a638c8c9af56485b860004c4f50c4dc3.png The previous generation iPhones, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, had cameras designed diagonally, which didn't support spatial video recording. When recording spatial videos, both the main camera and the ultra-wide camera on the iPhone work simultaneously. The footage captured by the ultra-wide camera automatically adjusts to match the size of the main camera's footage. Once recording is complete, the system merges the videos from both cameras into one file. When viewing spatial videos on an iPhone, they appear in the conventional two-dimensional video format. However, when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro's Photos app, they are displayed in three dimensions, providing a more immersive visual experience. Following tradition, the iPhone 16 series is expected to be released around September of this year. s_0f11140e1771408a93dba89d5d0796fa.png
