On March 9th, reports emerged stating that Apple is set to unveil the iPad Pro 2024 later this month, with the company having placed orders for nearly 10 million units from its supply chain.

It's reported that Apple has ordered 8.5 million OLED panels from its South Korean suppliers, which will be utilized in the iPad Pro 2024. Among these, Apple procured 4 million panels from Samsung and 4.5 million from LG.

Samsung is the exclusive supplier for the 11-inch iPad Pro panels, while LG Display holds the exclusive contract for the 13-inch iPad Pro panels. Judging from the order quantities, Apple anticipates greater consumer interest in the larger-sized iPad Pro models.

Notably, this marks the first time iPad Pro incorporates OLED panels, making it the most powerful iPad device in Apple's history. OLED's self-illuminating properties eliminate the need for backlight modules, allowing for a thinner device profile.

Reports suggest that the iPad Pro 2024 is over 1mm thinner than its predecessor, showcasing a more refined industrial design.

Mass production of the iPad Pro 2024 is already underway, and consumers can expect the new product to hit the market soon. s_3097da70f91e4cac95672ecd0f81dfe6.jpg
