On April 15th, news surfaced that the internet sensation "Cat-in-a-Cup," boasting millions of followers, has been banned across all platforms.

The reason behind this action stems from their collaboration with a colleague, Xue, in orchestrating and fabricating a series of videos titled "Finding lost homework belonging to elementary student Qin Lang." They later purchased homework books online during winter break, recorded related videos with their phones, and spread them across various online platforms, sparking strong attention and causing detrimental effects.

Astute netizens noticed that Zhi Ji Auto had collaborated with "Thurman Cat-in-a-Cup" three months ago to shoot promotional videos, even featuring them in advertising on social media circles. Relevant content can still be found online. s_19534752dfbb40bab90382fca6d9d2f8.jpg

Following the banning of "Cat a Cup" accounts, many have criticized SmartSelf Cars for their sluggish response, while others have suggested that their values were never aligned in the first place.

In response to these events, SmartSelf Cars issued an official statement:

Rumors regarding a partnership between "Cat a Cup" and SmartSelf Cars are unfounded. Our company has never had any official endorsement collaboration with "Cat a Cup." The materials mentioned in the article were complimentary resources provided by media partners in 2023 and the associated visuals were removed from circulation months ago (with prices not reflecting current rates). s_16e8064b6bcf4bfa8c0c896e6024a82b.png
