Intel's foundry business is officially up and running, with a primary focus on seeking and expanding its customer base. Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger has been actively engaging in various efforts to attract clients, even expressing willingness to provide manufacturing services to competitors like AMD and NVIDIA.

Now, Gelsinger has taken to Twitter to publicly reach out to Elon Musk, expressing his ongoing interest and extending a personal invitation for Musk to visit Intel's chip manufacturing facility, with hopes of engaging in a public dialogue.

However, Musk has yet to respond, at least not publicly.

It's evident that securing Tesla, Musk's company, as a client would significantly boost Intel's foundry business.

Currently, Musk is procuring a significant number of AI GPU accelerators from NVIDIA and AMD for various applications such as machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous driving. Additionally, Tesla is also developing its own Dojo ASIC. s_43860463c7064b26aeae559c80dd0f9e.jpg At a recent Intel Foundry event, Henry Kissinger even invited OpenAI's Sam Altman for an extensive public dialogue. Now, Intel has secured a whopping $8.5 billion in direct subsidies from the US government, along with $11 billion in low-interest loans and up to $100 billion in tax exemptions. With the funding and facilities in place, all that's left is to fill the factories with guests and patrons. s_a72c7c32b0f54759b4617c3a1693e6a9.png
