According to recent leaks, the Mate 70 might be the first model to debut with the pure version of HarmonyOS, marking a significant milestone for Huawei. The company aims to launch the HarmonyOS Star River edition commercially in the fourth quarter of this year, as per its official roadmap.
The Mate 70 series, as one of Huawei's flagship releases annually, garners considerable attention. It's anticipated to come equipped with the latest Kirin chipset and significant improvements in camera performance, positioning it as a flagship device for the brand.
Reports suggest that Huawei plans to increase the Mate 70 series' production volume by 40% to 50% compared to the previous Mate 60 series, indicating a notable relief in supply pressure.
As of now, over 4,000 apps have joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Compared to the initial 200 apps announced on January 18th, this represents a staggering twentyfold increase in native HarmonyOS applications in just two months.
