March 17th, Breaking News – Today, Yang Xueliang, Senior Vice President of Geely Holding Group, announced that pre-orders for the new Hyperion 001 have surpassed 20,000 units, with an ambitious target of reaching 30,000 units in the first month.
The latest Hyperion 001 was officially unveiled on February 28th, featuring four variants ranging from 269,000 to 329,000 RMB. With a lower price point and comprehensive upgrades in features, it even addresses many previous shortcomings.
Such a remarkable product has caught the attention of competitors, with even Ideal Motors CEO Li Xiang sharing his praise, stating, "The product's performance and pricing are truly impressive!"
According to reports, the new Hyperion 001 is described as a "complete transformation," offering 118 upgrades compared to the previous model.
For instance, the infotainment system is equipped with the 8295 chip, offering in-car satellite communication technology and a Yamaha audio system with 28 speakers as standard across all variants, along with standard laser radar.
Furthermore, all variants come with an 800V high-voltage system, offering a choice of two batteries, 95kWh or 100kWh, providing ranges of 675km and 750km respectively according to the CLTC standard.
Both options support ultra-fast charging, with the latter featuring Kirin batteries, allowing for a 10% to 80% charge in just 15 minutes. The former utilizes the latest Godspeed batteries from CATL, with similarly impressive charging speeds, taking only 11.5 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% SOC.
In terms of power, the single-motor variant boasts a maximum power of 310 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The dual-motor system achieves a comprehensive power of 580 kW, with an impressive 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.3 seconds.
