On April 22nd, in the midst of fierce competition in the automobile market where even international giants like Tesla cannot remain unaffected, a price reduction was officially announced in the Chinese market.
As a prominent player among domestic new forces, Ideal Automobiles naturally embraces competition without fear. Today, they unveiled the latest pricing. Effective immediately, the 2024 models of L7/8/9 and Ideal MEGA will adopt a brand-new pricing system, with both new and existing customers who have yet to receive their deliveries eligible for the new prices.
The 2024 Ideal L7 lineup consists of three models, with the latest prices ranging from 301,800 to 359,800 yuan. The Pro version sees a reduction of 10,000 yuan, while the Max and Ultra versions drop by 20,000 yuan.
The Ideal L8 also offers three models, priced between 321,800 and 379,800 yuan. The Pro version sees a reduction of 18,000 yuan, while the Max and Ultra versions drop by 20,000 yuan.
There are two models in the Ideal L9 lineup, priced between 409,800 and 439,800 yuan, with a universal reduction of 20,000 yuan.
The first pure electric MPV model from Ideal, the Ideal MEGA, is also included in this price reduction, with a reduction of 30,000 yuan, bringing the latest price to 529,800 yuan.
It's worth mentioning that Ideal's price reduction doesn't betray existing car owners. They will provide cash rebates to owners who have already purchased the 2024 Ideal L7, L8, L9, and MEGA models, with notifications sent through the Ideal Car App.
Some existing car owners have already received official subsidy notifications, getting cash refunds due to the price reduction. Compared to Tesla and others, Ideal is indeed demonstrating a more humane approach in this regard.
