March 13th Update: Tonight, Ideal Car released a statement announcing the official delivery of the 150,000th Ideal L8.
The Ideal L8 was officially launched on September 30, 2022, as a successor to the Ideal ONE model, and it quickly became one of the most popular domestic new energy vehicles upon its release.
Formal deliveries began on November 10, 2022, establishing it as the preferred choice among 300,000 to 400,000 large six-seater SUVs.
On March 1, 2024, the 2024 model of the Ideal L8 was officially launched, introducing nine major upgrades.
On March 12, 2024, the Ideal L8 welcomed its 150,000th owner.
Recently, it's worth noting that IDEAL announced the addition of models equipped with "CDC Sports Suspension" for the 2024 L7 and L8, continuing the naming convention of the Air models. These two new models are planned to be launched in May this year and deliveries will commence.
The newly launched L8 Air starts at a reduced price of 321,800 CNY, compared to the previous Air version with air suspension, which was priced at 339,800 CNY.
Due to changes in model planning, the model lineup of the 2024 IDEAL L7 and L8 has also been unified, with the naming changing from Air, Pro, Max to Pro, Max, Ultra.
