The renaming of "Hunan University of Science and Technology" to "Hunan University of Science and Technology" has been included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the establishment of higher education institutions in Hunan Province. According to the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education, Hunan University of Science and Technology Nanhuxue College must complete the transformation before proceeding with the renaming process. The Provincial Department of Education will urge Hunan University of Science and Technology to expedite the transformation of the independent college, guide the school to meet the standards for renaming from "college" to "university," improve teaching conditions, enhance the level of education, and complete the renaming as soon as possible.
