As of March 13th, amidst the ongoing price wars, it seems everyone is pulling out all the stops to attract customers.
In recent news, Guangqi Honda has announced limited-time discounts on its Everus VE-1 and CR-V models. From now until March 31st, the Everus VE-1 sees a substantial price drop of 23,000 CNY, with prices starting at 106,900 CNY after the discount. Additionally, customers can benefit from a 12-month interest-free finance policy. As for the CR-V gasoline models, there is a across-the-board discount of up to 28,000 CNY, with the highest-tier models eligible for a 12-month interest-free plan. Moreover, there's a trade-in subsidy of up to 8,000 CNY available.
The Stylish is actually the sibling model of the Civic. It was launched in April last year and consists of 8 variants, with prices ranging from 129,900 to 166,900 CNY.
It's positioned as a compact sedan, with dimensions of 4675/1800/1415mm (length/width/height) and a wheelbase of 2735mm. It's powered by a 1.5T engine, available with both CVT and MT manual transmission options. Notably, just on the 7th of this month, the Stylish introduced a new Infinite MUGEN edition priced at 157,900 CNY.
The latest price reduction applies to the gasoline version of the CR-V, known as the Haoying. Since its launch, the Haoying has accumulated over 600,000 units in sales. It debuted in December 2022 with seven models priced between 185,900 CNY and 249,900 CNY. Following this reduction, prices now start at just 157,900 CNY.
It's worth noting that despite the official no-haggle policy, there are substantial discounts available in the retail market, surpassing even the announced reduction. It's undeniable that traditional automakers are facing significant challenges in the wake of the rise of domestic brands.
