On April 20th, according to Caixin, the launching ceremony of the "Green Smart Home Appliance Trade-In Program" and the 8th Green Smart Home Appliance Festival's "Hundreds of Cities, Thousands of Villages, and Tens of Thousands of Stores" initiative took place in Wuhan, Hubei Province on the 19th. From April to December this year, the province will organize approximately 10,000 household appliance retail and recycling stores in Hubei to carry out trade-in activities. Consumers participating in the designated stores will enjoy a 10% instant discount subsidy, with a maximum subsidy of 1,000 yuan per item and up to 5,000 yuan per individual user. The activities will cover hundreds of urban areas and thousands of villages across the province. The first batch has seen participation from over 3,000 stores, with more to follow in the future.
