News from April 21st reveals that a blogger has recently shared an image of the Xingjie S9, the first car developed in collaboration between BAIC and Huawei.

Xingjie represents the "Third Realm" of HarmonyOS Smart Travel. The Xingjie S9 is Huawei's first luxury flagship sedan. Upon release, it will join the Wenjie M9 as the dual flagships in Huawei's "9 Series." Its front design language is similar to that of the Wenjie M9 and Zhijie S7, particularly the headlight design, which resembles that of the Wenjie M9.

The Xiangjie S9 sports a silver-gray paint job, multi-spoke wheels, and a body length of over 5.1 meters, giving it a luxurious presence comparable to mid-to-large sedans from premium brands like BBA. c8db14db-6dd2-433d-bb39-fd69a8bd02e6.jpg According to the latest information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car declaration for Xiangjie S9 has been made public. The vehicle's exterior continues the current Hongmeng Zhihang design philosophy, maintaining the family style similar to the Zhijie S7.

The dimensions of the vehicle are 5160mm in length, 1987mm in width, and 1486mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3050mm, meeting the size standards of a mid-to-large flagship sedan.

In terms of power, the new model will offer two versions: a single rear motor and a dual motor all-wheel drive. The single motor version has a maximum power of 227 kW, while the dual motor version features a maximum front motor power of 158 kW and a rear motor power of 227 kW.

Additionally, Yu Chengdong has also confirmed to bloggers that the Xiangjie S9 will initially be purely electric, with a range-extended version to follow.

It is clear that the Xiangjie S9 is set to compete with the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and Audi A6L. With an expected price around 500,000 yuan, the Xiangjie S9 aims to become a new benchmark for domestic luxury cars. 03d7cde3-38bc-462b-bc6a-2c16ef1a91da.jpg
