On May 2nd, it was reported that the Kirin 9000 series processors, not only the foundation of Huawei smartphones, will also be featured in Huawei's new desktop computer "Qingyun W515x," expected to be launched within this month, targeting commercial markets rather than retail.

The Qingyun W515x will be the first in the PC industry to debut the Kirin 9000C processor, with details still unclear except for its 8 cores, 12 threads, and integrated GPU.

Other features include LPDDR5 memory, Wi-Fi 6 wireless networking, TPM security chip, and support for replacing Huawei UFS and SSD hard drives.

The operating system will come in two versions, both co-released: one running Kirin Operating System KOS 2403 and the other running Union System UOS 1070.

Unfortunately, there is still no HarmonyOS PC version available. s_0eb683e89b004f1b9d3be81a6d4f322a.jpg Huawei launched a new commercial brand "Huawei Qingyun" in March last year, covering products such as laptops, tablets, desktops, printers, wearables, and smart screens.

Among them, there are two Qingyun desktop models, the Qingyun B730 and Qingyun B530, both equipped with Intel's 12th generation Core processors, including i7-12700, i5-12400, i3-12100, running on Windows 11 Home and Professional editions. s_ef3438eb489e4fca92abf9ccb2a1b9e3.png
