It is noteworthy that Huawei maintained its position as the top filer of patents with the European Patent Office for the third consecutive year. It is reported that at the recent Huawei Partner Day 2024, Wang Tao, Huawei's Executive Director and Chief of the ICT Infrastructure Business Management Committee, stated that Huawei's R&D investment accounted for over 20% of the company's revenue in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

In 2023, Huawei's total R&D investment ranked among the top five globally.
