On April 17th, it was announced by the official WeChat account of the People's Government of Hefei that photos of Jianghuai's high-end new energy vehicle base have been released.
It is evident that Huawei's Smart Selection Car business is poised for the "fourth wave."
The production base has already undergone public disclosure, according to previous reports.
According to the report, Jianghuai Automobile has built two pure electric platforms (DE, X6) based on industry demand.
First, there will be a focus on building a brand-new energy-exclusive platform (DE platform) to meet the demands of the domestic economy and improvement-oriented markets. The product lineup will include sedans, SUVs, and MPVs.
Secondly, there will be a strengthening of strategic partnerships, leveraging Huawei's intelligent technology to develop a new luxury energy platform (X6 platform), aiming to seize opportunities in the domestic high-end market.
The planned capacity of 200,000 vehicles will cover pure electric and extended-range passenger cars, mainly targeting mid to large-sized pure electric vehicles from the DE and X6 platforms. This includes C-class sedans, B-class sedans, A+ class SUVs, B-class SUVs, and MPVs.
The report also forecasts that Jianghuai passenger car sales will exceed 500,000 units in the next five years. The addition of DE and X6 platform products is expected to achieve sales of over 200,000 units.
