Huawei Router AX3 Pro Receives HarmonyOS 4.2 Update: Supports IPv6 Activation and Reduces Disconnections

On April 19th, Huawei announced the rollout of the HarmonyOS 4.2 update for its router AX3 Pro.

This update introduces three major features, including a reduction in disconnections and speed reductions, improved system stability, enhanced IPv6 compatibility, and improved Q6 Wi-Fi mesh networking performance.

• After the update, IPv6 functionality will be enabled.
• You can also log in to the router's WEB management interface or the router card in the Smart Life app, go to "Network Settings," and enter the "IPv6" interface to enable or disable IPv6 functionality.
• Enhanced IPv6 compatibility.
• Improved system security and stability. Official reminder: Do not power off the router during the update process.

According to the official upgrade plan, Huawei routers BE3 Pro and AX2 Pro will receive HarmonyOS 4.2 in May, while Huawei routers AX6, Huawei Lingxiao parent-child router Q6 Ethernet version, and Huawei Lingxiao parent-child router Q6E will receive it in June.
